How to reach the Foundation

One email address currently reaches every function. Enquiries are routed internally by the category you select on the form.

The registered office address will be published in full, with the pin code and directions, once the Foundation's registration formalities are complete. Until then, correspondence by email reaches us fastest.

Contact Form

Send an enquiry

Choose the category that best fits your enquiry. It determines who reads it first and how quickly you hear back.

Before you write

  • If you are asking about a specific programme or course, name it — it saves a round of email
  • If you are working to a deadline, say so in the message and we will prioritise accordingly
  • If you represent an institution, tell us your role, so we can involve the right people from our side
  • If you need a document that is already published, the Resource Centre is usually faster than we are
This form is not a channel for reporting an emergency, a crime, or an immediate risk to a child or an adult. Please see the emergency and compliance section further down this page.

Nothing on this website, and nothing in a reply from us, constitutes legal advice or creates a lawyer–client relationship. For advice on a specific matter, please consult a qualified legal practitioner.

Please do not attach documents containing personal data about children or complainants.

Enquiries are acknowledged within two working days and answered substantively within five. Media enquiries are acknowledged within one working day. We use your details only to respond to you, we do not sell or share them for marketing, and you may ask us to delete them at any time — see the Privacy Policy.

Department-specific email addresses will be published as the team expands. Until then, every department is reached through the single Foundation address above, and enquiries are routed internally by the category selected on the form. We would rather list one address that works than several that do not.

Office Hours

When we are available

Working days

Monday to Friday. The office is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

Training delivery and community camps frequently run on weekends; those are scheduled directly with the host institution and are not affected by office hours.

Working hours

Email is monitored through the working day. Messages received after hours or over a weekend are picked up on the next working morning.

Holiday notice

The Foundation observes gazetted public holidays. Response times extend by the length of any holiday period, and enquiries received during a closure are answered in the order they arrived.

Closures of more than two consecutive working days are announced in advance on the News page.

Social Media

Follow the Foundation

Programme updates, publication releases and event notices. We do not run direct-message support — enquiries should come through the form above.

Official channel links are published here as each account is verified. If you find an account using the SWAMITRA name that is not linked from this page, please tell us — we do not operate unlisted accounts.

Emergency & Compliance

Compliance contacts

These roles exist inside the Foundation and cover conduct by our own people, our trainers, volunteers and partners in the course of our work.

This website is not an emergency service. If a child or an adult is in immediate danger, do not use this form. Contact the police, the national emergency number 112, the childline service 1098, or the women's helpline 181, and where the law requires it, report the matter to the Child Welfare Committee or the Special Juvenile Police Unit without delay. A message sent here may not be read until the next working day, and that delay could matter.

How a concern is handled

Every concern is acknowledged, recorded and assessed. The identity of the person raising it is protected to the fullest extent possible, and retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith is itself a disciplinary offence under our Whistleblower Policy.

Where a matter falls to a statutory authority, we report it as the law requires and do not conduct our own investigation first.

A note on names

We publish roles rather than individuals. The person holding a role changes; the obligation does not. Naming the role means a concern reaches whoever currently holds it, including during a handover, and it protects the privacy of the officers concerned.

When you write, mark your message for the role. It will be routed to that officer and will not be read by anyone else in the Foundation.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Enquiries are acknowledged within two working days and answered substantively within five. Media enquiries are acknowledged within one working day. Partnership and CSR enquiries receive a substantive response within seven working days, because they usually need input from more than one team. If a holiday period intervenes, add the length of the closure.
Select the Training category on the form and tell us the programme, the approximate number of participants, your preferred delivery mode and a target month. We will confirm availability, the delivery format and any cost-recovery charge in writing before anything is scheduled. Core awareness material is free; customised institutional training is charged on a cost-recovery basis.
Use the partnership enquiry form on the Get Involved page rather than the general form — it captures what we need to scope properly. Tell us the geography, the institutions involved, the outcome you are after and any budget window. We respond within seven working days with an honest assessment, including when the answer is that the partnership is not workable.
Select General Enquiry and tell us the page address, what you were trying to do and what happened instead. Include your browser and device if you can. Technical faults are treated as priority because a broken download means somebody cannot get a resource they need. Accessibility barriers are treated the same way — see our Accessibility Statement.
No. The Foundation provides legal education, not legal advice, and nothing we publish or write to you creates a lawyer–client relationship. We can point you to plain-language material on your rights and to legal aid mechanisms. For advice on your specific matter, consult a qualified legal practitioner or approach the legal services authority in your district.
Visits are by prior appointment. Write to us with your preferred date, who you need to meet and the subject of the meeting, and we will confirm. Full address details, directions and landmarks will be published on this page once the registered office address is finalised for publication.
